KILL - modify or view the kill switch and start attempt alert settings.  On VT units that have a kill switch and door-open alerts, this command controls both.

 

If the kill switch is ENABLED and the current time is between the begin and end HOURS, then when someone opens a door, Van Tracker will send an alert to the owner's phone.  And when someone tries to start the vehicle, Van Tracker will disable starting and send an alert to the owner's phone.

• Kill status

  • responds with the current settings​​

• Kill ​hours __  __

  • sets the begin and end hours that the kill switch ​and alerts are active every day

• Kill enable​

  • Van Tracker will send door-open and start-attempt alerts and the van will not start (during the begin and end hours)

• Kill disable​

  • the van will start

• Kill hours 0 7

  • Sets the kill switch's hours from Midnight to 7am​

• Kill hours 5 5​

  • Any number repeated means 24 hours a day​

• Kill enable​
