Command Help

TIME - This command is not used in version 2.0 and above. Manually set the timezone by including the current hour of the day where you are.

Van Tracker gets the time from the cellular network, and uses the time to activate/deactivate the geofence, kill switch, etc.  If the unit is already on and driven out of cellular coverage, VT will remember the time, no problem.  Therefore, this manually set timezone + Greenwich Mean Time from GPS is only used when the unit is turned on in an area with no cell signal.

This should be done during installation / software setup, if you cross timezones, and when daylight savings begins / ends.  But since it only comes into play in the circumstance discussed above, it's not considered critical.
